It is very easy!

The first step is to complete the application package. You can either download it by clicking on the link to "Volunteer Application Form" in the PDF section at the bottom of this page or you can request to have it sent to you by calling 204-925-5625.

When you complete your application, you will indicate the area you would like to volunteer in (for example, program, fund raising, competitions, etc.) Within approximately one week after you submit your application, you will be contacted by Special Olympics Manitoba.

You will be notified of any remaining steps required to complete your application, including a general orientation to Special Olympics Manitoba. Some volunteer positions require a criminal record and vulnerable sector search certificate.

You will be offered a volunteer position if a successful match is made between your abilities, skills and an available position. If you decide to accept the offer, a start date will be discussed with you. You will then receive information on the next steps for training.
