Truck Convoy for Special Olympics Manitoba
Location: TC Energy Centre - Ile Des Chênes, Manitoba
September 18, 2021
Save the date! The Truck Convoy for Special Olympics Manitoba returns live and in-person on Saturday September 18th 2021!
Each year the Truck Convoy for Special Olympics brings together hundreds of amazing truckers and trucking companies from across the province to celebrate the accomplishments of Special Olympics athletes and raise much needed funds to keep the wheels turning on the year-round programming that allows them to succeed.
Last year we made the difficult decision to take the Convoy off the road and go to a virtual event. Despite not being able to be together in person, the Manitoba trucking community came up huge and raised close to $40,000 for Special Olympics Manitoba athletes! While last year was a success, it just wasn’t the same without an in-person Convoy! We’re happy to announce that current public health orders will allow for a proper Truck Convoy on Saturday September 18th! The Convoy will start and finish at the TC Energy Centre in Ile Des Chênes and will follow all current Provincial protocols on gathering sizes and social distancing.
Here’s how you can get involved:
Sponsor the Event – Click here to download this year's sponsorship package!
Register a Truck – The $100 registration fee includes a shirt, hat, $75 tax receipt, and of course breakfast and lunch! Click here to register online!
Register Virtually – We realize that not everyone is comfortable being part of a live event just yet, so we’re keeping the virtual component of the event for 2021. The $100 registration includes a shirt, hat, and window flag, as well as a $75 tax receipt back to the individual or company.
Donate an Item to the Online Auction – We will be running an online auction for two weeks before and after this year’s Convoy. Items valued at $500 and up will qualify for the various event sponsorship levels.
The trucking industry has been a big part of the Special Olympics Manitoba family these past 13 years and we are so grateful for all the support YOU provide each year at the Convoy.
