Introducing the Regional Athlete Leadership Council – Winnipeg Region
The Regional Athlete Leadership Council (RALC) is a group of athletes who provide an athlete's perspective into discussions made at the regional level. The council’s goals are to:
1. Represent athletes and provide an athlete voice at the Regional Level by providing feedback, presenting ideas/policies, and guidance to SOM’s senior leadership;
2. Actively include all athletes in their Region through effective communication and connect the Provincial Office, Regional Leadership Teams, coaches, volunteers, and community programs with each other;
3. Promote Athlete Leadership programming within SOM and share effective practices with one another
The Winnipeg Region has formed the first RALC in Manitoba. The members are:
