Four Special Olympics Manitoba Swimmers participating in the 2017 Canada Games

Special Olympics Manitoba is proud to have four swimmers participating in the 2017 Canada Games! These athletes were selected based on their performance at the Winter Waves Swim Meet.  They will be competing in Phase 2 of the Games (Aug 5 – Aug 13) at Pan Am Pool.  The swimmers will be competing in 50M Breast, 100M Free, 100M Back, 50M Back, 50M Free.

"Having swimmers in the Canada games is a tremendous opportunity for these hard working athletes to be able to have a place to showcase their talents. They are very excited for the experience, and even more so to have it on home soil so that they can share it with family & friends," said Head Coach, Melissa Diamond.
