FOUR SPECIAL OLYMPICS MANITOBA TRACK ATHLETES PARTICIPATING IN THE 2017 CANADA GAMES

The 2017 Canada Games are just around the corner and Special Olympics Manitoba is proud to have four track and field athletes participating! These athletes were selected based on their performance at the Kinsmen Outdoor Track Meet this past May.  They will be competing in Week 1 of the Games (Jul 27 – Aug 4) at the University of Manitoba Stadium.  The athletes will be competing in the 100m and 200m events.

"Having our athletes compete in the Canada Summer Games gives them the opportunity to show the Nation their accomplishments," said Head Coach, Janice Howe. “They are very excited about competing with all of the best young athletes from across Canada.”
