Manitobans Named to SO Team Canada Training Squad heading to the 2023 SO World Summer Games in Berlin

After months of competition, qualifying, waiting and anticipating, the day we have all been waiting for has finally arrived: the SO Team Canada Training Squad has been announced!

After a pandemic pause, Special Olympics athletes are excited to get back to what they love, and for eight Manitoba athletes, the thing they love is high level competition!

Eight athletes and five coaches/mission staff from Special Olympics Manitoba will be joining their peers across the country to represent Canada at the 2023 Special Olympics World Summer Games in Berlin. The Games will take place in June of 2023 and we can't wait to see what our Manitoban members have in store for us.

Let's give them a big round of applause as they begin their journey to Berlin!
