Law Enforcement Torch Run
Guardians of the Flame
The Law Enforcement Torch Run® (LETR) is the largest public awareness vehicle and grass-roots fundraiser for Special Olympics. Known honorably as Guardians of the Flame, law enforcement members and Special Olympics athletes carry the “Flame of Hope” into the Opening Ceremony of local competitions, and into Special Olympics State, Provincial, National, Regional and World Games. Annually, almost 110,000 dedicated and compassionate law enforcement members carry the “Flame of Hope,” symbolizing courage and celebration of diversity uniting communities around the globe.
The LETR for Special Olympics engages law enforcement worldwide championing acceptance and inclusion for people with intellectual disabilities, starting first with their own communities.Since 1989, the Manitoba LETR has raised over $2.5 million dollars for Special Olympics Manitoba athletes. Many Manitoba LETR events take place throughout the year, with the generous support from agencies across the province.

Corporate Sponsors & Partners
Partnerships with the corporate community change lives for Manitobans living with an intellectual disability. They enable us to provide the programs, mentorship and resources that individuals with an intellectual disability need to tackle inactivity, intolerance, and isolation.
Our programs are designed to develop physical fitness and life skills, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship. With your support, we impact the lives of hundreds of individuals of all ages. Together, we hope to make the world kinder, gentler, and more just for all people.
We will custom build a partnership to meet your needs. A tax deductible receipt, opportunities to engage your staff, change a life or meet your annual sales goals -> partner with us and we'll help you achieve your goals.
For more information on partnerships please contact Jennifer Campbell at (204) 925-5629 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
We are grateful for the generous support of our many national partners, which helps us offer more sport and development opportunities for our Special Olympics Manitoba athletes.
